I would like to startup with Battery Temperature, Battery Charging, and Fuel Gauge ebabled.
To accomplish this I have had to do the following:
1) Configure the 3 switches
2) On boot turn the switches on.

Or without the on boot code I need to configure the switches every time there is a COLD (power cycle) boot.

Is there a way to turn these on without needing to create the switches and then turn the switches on ?

Can I access the SDK from lambda code ?

As an enhancement to your current approach, have you tried making the switches internal so they are at least not visible in HA?

But regarding if there is a simple way to do it currently, there is not. But this can probably be added as a feature if you request it on GH.

You can technically, but I would not recommend since it bypasses the ESPHome component's queued SDK access and can cause some concurrent access issues.
